just some news i heard today that melbourne has picked up Geoff Freeman and is on the board now. Geoff Freeman is apparently (from memory) a well skilled business man. acording to media his is a certain candiate to take over the presidency from Don Mclardy. Geoff Freeman spent an hour with Andrew Demetriou at the AFL HQ last week, and the media has put spin on this as a favorite to replace Mclardy.

Hasn't he been on the board for a few months???

Yeah was appointed a few months back, definitely in line to be President at some point soon.
