Man i have seen ur posts on here. Have u ever watched an AFL game or read anything about AFL...... saying he looked for money. Well thats what essendon were doing..looking for money, coz they had none.

Thats why they offloaded Cara, Blumfield and Heffernan, so they could fall even in the salary cap.

So before u come on and bag a player (who is in a serious condition) with stupid lies like u wrote, get ur facts right!!!!!!!

He wasn't forced out, I worked with a girl who was friends with his girlfriend. She told me he was going to Brisbane halfway through the 02 season. A bit of a coincidence

how am i a tool for giving my opinion? firstly if he never wanted to go to Brisbane he wouldnt of, i believe the likes of brisbane players post flag success took PAY CUTS to stay together as a winning group, essendon simply did not get that respect from the players. he was moulded into a player under the sheedy regime similar to many other essendon players and developed and simply left when the $ amount was not surfice. im a fan of club legends, one club players.. the ppl you can talk about 10 post retiremnet eg hirdy,fletch,lloyd of the likes, cara could of slipped into that group if he stayed a bomber.. this is not the NBA where players simply move to clubs that offer the contract with more 0's.. many players in clubs have taken pay cuts before as they are loyal to the club, so to say he was pushed out is a bit of an overstatement
