Ghost Sightings??

Well my parents bought an old house that is 100 years old. Apparently someone was murdered in the dining hall. Every now and again when Im at home on my own I hear footsteps walking down the hallway. Two times when Ive been on my own, the lightbulb in the dining room has exploded. Once the light in the study turned itself on too!
SO yeah I believe in ghosts and stuff

One night I woke up to a sight of a young kid of about eight or nine years of age tip toeing toward the door of my bedroom.

It sounds crazy and was probably my head going nuts but I remember such vivid detail. A collarless white shirt buttoned all the way to the top and pale blue jeans. He was carrying a leather bound book with a fabric bookmark hanging out of it. Blond hair combed back and plastered in brill cream. didn't make eye contact.

Like I said it's probably some kind of hallucenation but it kind of freaked me out at the time, cos I don't usually see things y'know?

I was 100 percent sober too.
 
I went to accompany my sister at her new house. I slept in the loungeroom and woke to the sound of cupboard doors slamming at about 2am. It was only a small house and the kitchen was located directly next to where I was sleeping. I got that cold chill you get and was a bit freaked out. Got up to check it out and noticed one of the kitchen windows was open.

It was fairly windy outside so I put this strange event down to that. I shut the window and the the cupboards stopped at that.
Went happily back to sleep until about half an hour later, I awoke to the same thing.... This time no explanation as the windows had been shut. I turned the lights on and everything went silent.

I told me sister about this and she was worried so I invited my mate to stay the next night. We went off to sleep in the loungeroom once again. The loungeroom was layed out so that there was a coffee table that lay at both our feet, in between the two couches. On this coffee table was a TV of course, but also a huge brass bowl. This bowl was heavy and was sitting firmly near the middle part of the table. Once again we woke about 3am to a large banging sound. We looked at each other in the dark... "man, what the F_k was that!? We turned on the light and the brass bowl was sitting in the middle of the loungeroom floor. Needless to say, my sister moved out soon after
 
ive never really seen or heard anything unusual.

but i've heard so many stories that it makes you wonder............

it also makes you wonder if some people are just nuts.......

Well what happened afterwards did he run or did he just dissapear?

yeah, it is called a dream.....when you wake up, it is gone!! fancy that!!

He just kind of faded away, which makes me think it was my imagination more than anything else. I was fully awake though.

I usually just use that story to freak out my younger sister nowadays, who has since moved into that bedroom :p
