Actually crowds have always been shit before Christmas, it’s not until Boxing Day that cricket season really begins in Melbourne

Yeah this is probably the 5th straight year I've seen somebody on here suggest the end of T20 is nigh due to low pre-Christmas BBL crowds. Continually proven wrong so far.

I will be surprised, however, if the elongated 14-round season doesn't put a dent in the overall averages.
