Put the conspiracy theory back in the bag, Jethro. When was he supposed to declare with the amount of time lost? If he'd batted on and left the Poms little chance, they would have shut up shop and played out a boring draw, he had to give them some hope.

Good call Hippie.It at least gave the Poms something to crow about for a while.Steve Waugh would have done the same thing.If the bowlers had of given him some support then it may have been a different story.I've seen better bowling in a ten pin alley,or from the white leghorn on the bowling green.Very ordinary.Bing was very very dissappointing and must be lucky if he holds his spot for tomorrows test.
