When do you saint supporters see him debuting?

GT said it'll all depend on Injury and form of best 22...hopefully he wont be a required player this year. It's a shame though, he would have towelled up Wells in the opening round.

I think Grant Thomas compared his foot skills to the that of Nathan Buckley, but I am yet to see him train, so he might have just said that to get us excited. From all reports he is doing well, has smooth skills, but just needs to bulk up a bit more. Depending on his form and the clubs injuries, he could play in Rd 1. However, the better scenario would probably see him play 5-10 games toward the end of the season.

He will play less than 10 games so he can then win the Rising Star award next year, since Luke Ball will win it this year.

Too small body wise to make a MAJOR impact this year.

To be honest, we would be better off with minimal impact from Goddard this year.

I'm not keen on the idea of expecting 22 games + finals from 17 year old kids.

I'm with you Sav, I'd like to see him get a taste, ala Riewoldt, gives him an understanding of what is required without too much responsibility, 5-10 games.

I spose, I just hope the rest of the team plays well enough that he isn't forced to play too much too soon. Like those before me - I'll be patient & accept a nice easy 5 - 10 games from him, ideally there's no need to unduly rush the youngster

Not sure when he will debut, but I think he may play about 6-8 games ideally!!!!!
