I can't help lamenting our lack of genuine, big bodied gorilla minders heading into Sunday's big clash with the pies. With Haddrill gone for the season, and Grover and Warren still a few weeks away, we are going to be grossly outsized in the back half against the big silverback Rocca, and his chest beating apprentice Tarrant this week.
Even though our defense held up well and generated some good run against the Bombers, Johno an Co just didn't have the strength to move their opponents off the ball, which resulted in way too many set shots to the bigger fellas, such as Johns. I hope I'm wrong, but I get a feeling that Collingwood's gorilla's will again expose our lack of size down back, and potentially hurt us a lot more with their conversion. Could be a defining moment for our young defense (Parks excluded).
