Grand Final Trade Help

Hey guy's thought we would ask your opinion on who we should get for our last trade.
The following is my 10 year old sons Supercoach team. (Pretty embarasing when your son goes further than the old man as my team went out of the finals in straight sets Getting a lot of stick from him about that Anyway here we go.

Backs - J.Bowden , Adcock , H.Shaw , Carrazzo , Mcphee , Gilbee , Harris. (J.Smith & Toovey)
Centre - Malceski , Black , West , Rodan , Young , M.Clarke. (Bartel & Barlow)
Ruck - Everitt , Hudson. (Seaby & Graham)
Forwards - Cornes , Pavlich , G.Ablett , J.Brown , B,Johnson , Lucas , Ebert. (Newton & Gray)

Obviously he will be trading out Bartel which will give him $830,100 so cash is not a problem.
Who should he get for his trade & who do you think he should bench Rodan or Clarke
The options we thought of were - L.Hodge , K. Cornes or Goodes (His oppenent does not have the first two players but they do have Goodes)

Thanks for any advice and I will never hear the end of it if he wins his grand final

Personally I would bench Clarke. Rodan has been doing well apart form the last 2 games and he is up against a very weak freo side this week.

Out of the options for a midfielder stay away from Hodge (will get alot of attention from Sydney and it is true about players not scoring well against the swans). K.Cornes will do well as there is nobody left to tag at Freo (unless he tags Bell) and Goodes has been is awesome form, but surely Hawthorn will try and counter this (sewell was beaten last time though).

You could play it safe and go Goodes (depending on how confident you are with other match-ups) or otherwise K.Cornes would probably be the best option.

I am also considering Brent Harvey or Ben Cousins as a replacement for Bartel. Any reason your not considering them.

What are people's thoughts on either of these players?

I'll second that.
Rodan/Clarke might be a tough choice, Rodan should have it easier with Freo missing a few of their key on-ballers, but fantasy teams tend to perform well against the Crows. Clarke may help himself to a nice amount of dt points.

Yeah both are worth some thought but recent form has them down our list ATM.
Not the best time to trade someone into your team & only get 60 odd pts. But thats the chance you take with anyone I suppose

Well my sons team ended up winning his GF. 2368 to 2258 (by 110pts.)
Ended up trading in K. Cornes & making him captain
Also made the right decision by benching M. Clarke

He may hold the crown this year in our family but there is always next year.

My first year & ended up overall - 15,619
My sons team ended up overall - 25,714
