Gun Recruits

If we don't get a gun recruit this year, and i mean some awesome midfielders, we can all kiss next year good bye!
We need a Stevens, or someone that can step straight in with experience and can run like the wind, no slow aged hacks!

I think that you can see by the players Carlton have either targeted or targeting that thay are going after midfielders. Harvey, Stevens, Power and Lappin are all examples of this. They certainly haven't been linked to the likes of Solomon, Brown or Rawlings.

I'd reckon you'd need a bit more than Stevens, in all seriousness.
He'd be a good get, but in all honesty your depth really isn't that deep. You should use that number 2 to get a good young kid and build a good base that the club can rely on in the future. Denis is perfect for that. I realise Carlton currently have a lot of young blokes as it is, but one more aint going to hurt you.
