CC doesnt pick the players in the draft. Phil Smarts job is to pick draftees. So if your angry at the drafting dont blame CC.

After coughing up my membership fees for ten years and not seeing too much in return, except a mulitude of bad decisions and choices. I have given up being angry, just very disappointed and not much seems to change.

With the Fremantle football culture, the supporters and passion, we should be in a similar position as Port. We should be up there with the best, especially with the squad that we have. CC is a poor choice as a coach and 2004 results and performance proved this.

That's a big call to say that 2004 proved CC was a crap coach. It's had me questioning his style certainly, but I don't think we can put him into the unquestionably poor category just yet.

He has this year to prove if he's got it.

BB Gun - my view it would have been far better taking Thornton, Wilkes and Swallow in the draft rather than eastern states boys and Haines. You and I both know that Haines will not be a dominant player at AFL level and be lucky to get a game.

At rookie time take three more, and one of them a ruckman.

I just don't see that we are going to get any long term value with what we have picked up this year. I read somewhere that Copping is a 5 years prospect due to his light frame. Another Crowley, Doswell and Edcumbe fiasco, because CC does not like WA boys.

i see your point. I used to think haines was going to be a very good player. he has had a bad run with injuries. We know what we are getting with Haines, he add depth to our team. Picking up a young superstar late in the draft doesn't happen very often. Players like Wikes and Swallow can be put on the rookie list, haines can't. There is a chance we might still get Wilkes and swallow in the PSD.
I agree should have gone for more WA players. Copping reminds me of S Thorton. The other SA player we picked up (forgot his name) seems to be a mixture between R Dunn and B Cunningham.
