I took my 7 year old daughter to her first game last week and all in all was a great day.

We go there early and I had thought the long time before the game would be a test but i failed to appreciate the appeal that the mascot Half Cat has with the younger set.
Instead of asking every 30 seconds when the game would start my daughter was transfixed with he antics of Half cat as he got into all matter of strife on the field in the pre match. She even got a hug when we ventured down to the fence.

Great stuff.

The raining of goals throughout during the match may have been of some interest to her, but nothing could top Half Cat.

Half Cat had a complete makeover and launched his new fabulous look on the weekend against West Coast Eagles.

With the help of Emma Woodruff and Kellie Naylor at Chelsea Lane Hair Studio, Half Cat received a manicure, hair cut and an eyebrow fill.

His whiskers are longer and thicker, his teeth and claws sharper and his body more masculine.

Half Cat is now most meanest and attractive mascot in AFL!

he was due for an ungrade in suite last year as he was looking a bit purple due to the amount of sun exposure he's had
