There are warnings which carry no points, minor infractions which carry 1 point, yellow cards - 3 points, red cards - 5 points. Each sticks around for 1-2 weeks and can accumulate. Yellow cards stop you starting new threads, red cards stop you posting period.

In this case they were 24 hour red cards for breaches of our rules/posting guidelines that you see stickied up the top.

We hate doing it to our own, but we can't keep warning and being ignored because this too upsets people.

We much prefer people check their egos at the door and have some respect for each other, the club (the reason we are here) and the various levels of knowledge that people have.

It's not the naughty corner. I don't want to belittle adults like that. It's just a reminder to everybody to check their posting styles once in a while, for the good of the board.
