Does anyone here know who they are? Indie rock band from England, just the two albums, stars of cctv and once upon a time in the west. Stars of cctv thier first, rated much higher than the other, but i heard once upon a time in the west first. Pretty ****in good. Didn't see how it could be so much worse than the stars of cctv. Then i heard stars of cctv. Listen to them, seriously. Living for the weekend, suburban knights are a couple of good ones.

I Shall Overcome is an amazing song. Love the band dearly, saw the gig at the Prince of Wales last year, great act, good pop rock:thumbsu:

Sounds like there is a lot of love for them by people who actually know who they are. If they can just get around a bit more, they could be massive. Bad decision not to make tonight a single i reckon.

Heard of a band called Porcupine Tree? They're even less known than Hard Fi but are probably better.

Nah never heard of them. What are some good songs by them? They must be good to be better than hard fi. Seriously, a majority of hard fi's songs are rippers. Living for the Weekend is good as, Feltham is singing out is really good, good lyrics too, middle eastern holiday, suburban knights, tonight, little angle.

Get their latest album, Fear of a Blank Planet. It's absolutely superb.

Once Upon a Time in the West is a brilliant album. I haven't got their other album although Hard to Beat is one i have heard and that is wicked.

I've got both of their albums and I have to say their isn't one song song that isn't great. Doesn't look like that anyone has really heard of them outside of England which is a shame becuase they should be being world beaters. Its also commercial friendly sort of music so there shouldn't be any hesitations from the sh1tty radio stations (fox!) to play them.

The problem with Hard-Fi is that they "emerged" around the same time as the Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Kooks etc and as a reslt were swept up in the strorom. I rate them as ok, but prefer others like the Bravery, Zutons, Subways and Bloc Party. Also they aren't that good live. Caught them ata festival in Ireland in 2006 and the live show was disappointing. I don't mind bands who have a political message (am actualy like bands with a conscience), but Hard-Fi's problem was that none of their music really reflects political perspectives, yet their screen back drops were just Iraq War images.......didn't fit and detracted from their slot.
