Help - Homework - Info. Tech.

Hello, beautiful people.
I need help for my Info. Tech. outcome. I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me out with some information on the following:

64m ATI radeon 8500
56x CD Rom
CD burner

Briefly, I need to explain what the part of the computer is used for, how it will benefit a high school student doing homework and why the part is better than any another similar part.

Any information will be very much appreciated.

The site doesn’t really help me with the cost ($) and why it is better (56x) than other CD Roms. I have got the following so far on the ROM:

The 56k Rom has a capacity of around 700 mega bytes per CD. It will allow a student to access large amounts of fixed information quickly. The 56x is pretty speedy and you won’t be paying too much money as an increase to 112x CD Rom would cost a fair bit more. The 56x is beneficial, doing the job and saving money.
