A long long year it's been a few up's but almost 99.95% downs but despite our year i have always had an open mind when it's come to the end of the year, saying 2008 we will an inprovement (any will do) and finish 12-8th on the ladder next year....

Many oppositions fans constantly bag, degrade and shame our list. Most days i hear a comment on Jackson being a dud playing in and out of our best 22.... King being sloppy.. Thursty having no talent, mguanne the same and almost every day having Lids name thrown around saying ' he was drafted as a mid-fielder and he is a dud and yet to perform.... and always critisise our draft selections.

The majority of the comments come from a Bomber supporter ( can't use the old ' your a bomber supporter cause they finished higher on the ladder).....he says that their young list is better, their olds and draftees will be more superior.

Help me out boys how can you get through to a Essendon supporter with his head so far up his a**e?

Just remember everyone of them and find out there adresses ...

And then in a few years when richmond are a genuine premiership contender and the bombers are falling apart at the bottom of the ladder,

Thats when you go to there houses and let them have it

If they mention bad draft picks reply with a list of some of their first round picks since 2000: James Davies, Shane Harvey, Jason Laycock, Jason Winderlich, Kepler Bradley, Angus Monfries. Point out that Jackson was taken at 53 and is already better than any of this lot.

If they question our skills reply by asking about the right foot of Scotty Lucas, both feet of Mal Michael and the head of Courtney Johns.

If they think their young list is better ask who this young list is. The only players they had under 21 at the beginning of '07 were Dempsey, Gumbleton, Hislop, Houli, Jetta, Lee, Neagle, Reimers, Ryder, Slattery and Stanton. Compare that to Casserley, Collins, Connors, Deledio, Edwards, Hughes, Jackson, McGuane, Meyer, Oakley-Nicholls, Pattison, Peterson, Polo, Raines, Riewoldt, Tambling, Thursfield and White.

Point out that we've got a Rising Star winner in there and a runner-up as well.

Point out their '07 B & F results and ask "Where were the kids?"

If they're still crapping on mention Courtney Johns again. If they keep going then laugh a lot (you won't be able to stop yourself by this stage).

When you get yourself back under control, point at the roof and say, "What's that?" When they look up kick him in the nuts, turn around and walk away. No-one could expect any more of you.

You'll probly be able to start bagging him at the start of next year when they continue to complain about knighter.

It's tough to argue with a Bombers supporter because the bastards have rarely found themselves out of the finals. Seriously - look at their history. Plus Sheeds was a magnificent coach and they've been very successful even in recent decades.

All I can suggest is take the fact that they beat us once and we beat them once in 2007. Dead heat.

Also perhaps the fact that they just lost Sheeds and Hird and they have a new, relatively untested coach and a very young list - all of whom have known only one coach.

They only have 11 players under 21 years old ... theor best players are 30+ and their younger players are struggling to make a mark ...Knighta has a bigger job on his hands than he realises
