Consumer Electronics Home theatre - Build myself or package?

I'm probably going down the road of getting a home theatre set up. I went to Big Picture People today and was pretty impressed with what I saw, but I have no idea about the industry

Ive done some searching on the products in each package and looked at the prices if I was to buy each item and put it together myself, but the savings dont seem to be worth it. Looks like a lot of areas I can go wrong, plus Big Picture People will install etc

Any inside info on the industry? Are there better people out there for home theatres I should look at?

Both also come with 3d glasses etc plus a few other things

Ive gotten those specs online and wasnt really able to remember exactly which was which from the showroom, the online RRP are about 3-4k over the selling price, plus the owner knocked off 1k straight away
