So, what songs out there do people like by bands who are considered one hit wonders? Or other songs by bands who are largely known for a particular song?

Blind Melon is pretty much known for 'No Rain'. However, my favourite song is Soup. Absolutely gorgeous song. Change is also a ripper.

Well, they are certainly widely known as 'The band who sing Bitter Sweet Symphony'. What is it about The Drugs Don't Work that you love so much?

The lyrics really resonate with me, having lost someone very close to me through cancer.

Candi Staton had one of the great country-soul voices, however was known for her disco hit, "Young Hearts Run Free". This from her 1970 debut, "I'm Just A Prisoner" a powerhouse Soul album



The original acapella version of "You Got The Love" which became a club hit after gettin' the Frankie Knuckles treatment (since covered by Flo and the Mach)

I'm pretty sure Devo didn't have any hits in Australia, at least nothing that went top 10. I don't think WHIP IT even made it into the top 50, and BEAUTIFUL WORLD may have scraped into the top 20, but other than that it was their albums that were successful, not there singles.

Every other song by Concrete Blonde. JOEY made it to 2 or 3 in the charts, but I don't think any other releases made the top 30.
