It's impossible for Hotel California to be overplayed. I think if it was played on repeat 24/7, then you'd still be craving more of it.

That opening guitar part sends shivers down my spine. Whoever and wherever you are, when the vocals kick in, then you're immediately transported to a moment of pure ecstasy. It's a sound that clearly Stravinsky was aiming for when he and Rach were in LA in 1943. It took decades later, but The Eagles created the vision. The perfect experience.
