I haven't seen the reserves play for the last month (they've been playing lots of away games in Canberra) but based on the previous month and reading reviews of recent games:
He seems to be doing pretty well. Many of the Swans' reserve rucks are or have been injured (both Doyle and Erikson have been out for the last month or so and Shaw had no pre-season and is gradually working his way back to fitness).
As a result, Rowe has been doing a lot of ruckwork, usually starting the game in the middle. He's been more than holding his own in this role. He doesn't seem to do a huge amount around the ground and is still pretty skinny so I see him as a long way off senior football. But I suspect the club would be pretty satisfied with him thus far.
