How many bonus points do I have?

How can he have 0 for Tests?

He would have had 4 or 5 last year how has he lost them all?

He played in 2 Test series in 2005, that's 4 BPs, you only lose them when you don't make the team for the next Test series there, was 1 one in 2006 where he would have lost 1.

So how is he down to 0?

Are you going to put up all the BPs for players so we can check that you've got them right?

I see no need. It will just cause unneeded controversy, with people arguing and stating I'm wrong.

I've done them the best I can.

He has 0 for tests, because I used a list that was posted in a thread about 3 months ago, with what people should have, and he had 0.

No point arguing the matter, that's how it's going to stay, because I'm not changing the averages part way through the season.

I've done them, and I believe they're right.

They won't be changing.

It's a joke, Moo one of your commitee members kept banging on about making it totally clear & now you won't.

Skipper Kelly should clearly have some Test BPS & I don't see why he should be shafted on that just becuase you say so.

Also didn't give you the bonus points you have (you have 4, is that right?) because I didn't want to.

You don't want a committee and believe that the the administrator should be God, yet you now challenge his authority.

I think the word 'hypocrite' comes to mind.

I have more than 2. The start of last season I was maxed out. Didnt drop any because I represented. But then again you believe they are right so they must be.

You've banged on and on about committees, rules etc etc, poll after poll of useless BS and now that an error has been brought to your attention you have the hide to call someone a hypocrite without any attempt to correct it.

Well Dipp you know my view - I think the BP's should be up for everyone and if someone can prove they should have BP's as per the rules ...then they should get them.

This is where a 3 member Panel of Haughty Unbiased Crusading Kommittee (of a) Unified Position would be of use. ***** UP could simply look at a player grievance and say yes or no.

Put em up and if an individual has a ? , fair enough - let him get told why and if a mistake is made fix it.

Aside from the Dip v Moo show last year, there were guys who had missed on BP's that no one in the world would have disputed ...correctable error IMHO and if someone can be fagged asking the Q - they deserve an answer.

If you disagree with the answer then ask the committee, who will debate the issue and make a final decision.

All you have to do is provide supporting evidence for your case.

But it is your argument, not Dippers.

So what happens when an error is found, you dont join the thread to fix it you join the thread to have a go at a poster who actually adressed the issue.
 
BP's should be listed openly for everyone to see and any errors corrected.

Too many people are letting their judgement be clouded by who raises an issue instead of the issue itself.

This is an issue that needs total transparency. Anything less will raise plenty of eyebrows.

As OD premiers I believe we get BPs for the one day format.
Should be updated
 
I used that list, and then added/subtracted bonus points as they're meant to be.

Victoria get 2 bonus points for the one day form of the game, for being one day premiers.

Allies get 2 bonus points for the test form of the game, for being test premiers.

Perhaps one of the greatest short sights of my days in charge. I brought them in as incentive to promote internationals. That didn't happen, Internationals are just unimportant to BigFooty as they were before hand. It just brought in more and more controversy.

Having said that scrapping all of them all together now would be an ill-fated decision as widespread unrest amongst teams (especially Victoria and the Allies) would rage and we just would never hear the end of it. Is it going to get to the point where we need a points accountant and each captain lodges a "points tax return" by a certain date listing internationals played, finals played and won, other awards to certain players providing links along the way?

I feel the same way about them, but they're part of this competition and I have to respect that.

But yes, they cause nothing but trouble.
