* Dual Best and Fairest (1950,1954)
* Magarey Medalist (1950) - Only full back to do so.
* North's longest serving captain (1948-1955)
* Captain of North Adelaide's Team of The Century

Probably time he got a look in for the Australian Hall of Fame.

Certainly worth considering. Was also sixth in the Magarey in '48

Watching him play on Coleman would have been worth the price of admission alone - several pics of high flying McKay marks around including his famous one in the 1952 Grand Final
