When brisbane were missing goals they would normally kick and things not going their way i thought its not their night... carltons pressure around the ball and contests was amazing and controlled much of the game... kruzer stepped up, eddie betts stepped up... until brisbane strung two goals together i thought they were dun and dusted... the lack of intensity shown then by carlton was lacking... they were second to the ball and in small numbers, they missed targets...and no one came to the party.. It wasnt rattens fault as some muppets would say but could you argue when it was on the table to be won the leaders or carlton did not step up and light the way? in all fairness juddie fev ran hard all day but so did black yet he stepped up even more..i think it was a very good learning curb for your team and to be missing so quality in your backline made it hard.. but you boys are heading in the right direction...
