inserting an image into a thread

can someone please help me out on how to inser an image into a post

The image has to be on the Internet already and is only inserted into the thread as a link, use the IMG button under the list of smileys and then paste or type the url for the image in the dialogue box.

unfortunately not, not unless you post it somewhere on the web first.

so where do u post your pics then? do u have to have a website or something?

Just get the picture and upload it to some webspace.

Then post the address with [ img ] at the stat and [ /img ] at the end with no spaces.

I use www.angelfire.com just to upload pictures and stuff.
