Well with not going to the footy today, I was able to have a listen to the radio. On 3AW, Anthony Ingerson & Shane Woewodin were interviewed.
The main point of interest was where they were asked about Melbourne's poor form and they admitted they took a very relaxed attitude after last year. They thought it would happen AGAIN. You would have thought they have learnt the first time!
They also got Shane to admit he is feeling the pressure this year. He was not enjoying his footy as much but he did get away during the break and hopes to be back with a new attitude.
They said that the off field dramas had minimal effect on the players, but what else would they say?
Ingo is staying in Melbourne. He spoke to the players pre game. Hope it worked!
He also said what a thrill it was to play against and beat some of the games top forwards.
