Okay well they have finally decided on the format for the next three years.

Same number of games per team (14 each) but the teams will be split into two conferences to accomodate 2 new teams.

They have also introduced a double chance for the top 2.

4 players can be retained by each franchise- the rest will all go to auction.

IPL 2011 starts 5 days after the World Cup on April 5th

Personally I would like to see a reduction in games to 9 each but that will never happen. Also seems to be overkill with the World Cup just finishing.

Like the double chance though.
 
Depending on what happens in the Champions League I expect Chennai to retain Dhoni, Raina and Murali, while they'll consider Hayden, Bollinger, Vijay and Flintoff who they'll probably let slip back into the mix and then try to pick them up again from there.
