Is it ironic that Jewel's song Intuition has been used in an ad that is currently on TV?

It sounds like when a car company wanted to use the chorus of the Eels song "Mr E's Beautiful Blues" for an ad campaign. E refused to let them because it was in tatal contradiction to the whole point of the song, in particular the first verse which is about air pollution.
