Just watched the first episode, and loved it. I have missed Rob Thomas shows. it does feel alot like Veronica Mars.

I watched it last night was quite good

if you liked Veronica Mars you will definitely like it

Yeah, If you liked Veronica Mars. Because its basicly Veronica Mars but she is a zombie who works in the morgue rather than a teenage student.

Not familiar with the backstory (is it a comic?) but after watching the pilot it seems firmly pitched in the teen market

and all the VM call backs like little hints about Neptune and some same actors. The Weather man was Cliff the Lawyer in VM. But the internal monologue could almost be dubbed into a old VM episode.

Its a comic from Vertigo, which is where DC put all the darker comics for older readers in the 20's. They are on sale this week on comixology. I havent read them myself but thinking of picking some up.

It's the same premise as the Izombie comic but they changed a bunch of things about the main character

I found it pretty formulaic and light, but I realise this is what they were aiming for. It's pitched at a young market. The main character seems more like a revenant, than a zombie to me.

I just finished the first trade paperback and interesting you mentioned Revenant

I had to check - Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Supernatural, Arrow and The Flash lead me to believe you are spot on

This week was even better, love this show. all the stuff with Liv when she was flirting with everyone was great. So now we know the zombie disease is spread by sex also. I hope the show keeps it up.

Apparently it's going to be on go whenever channel 9 get around to showing it possibly stan at some point as well but who knows when that will be

wow 9 paid for the rights, it seems more a Foxtel show for Fox8. They will sell the rights to Foxtel next year when they give up on it.

wait ages to actually put it on, by which time 90% of the people interested have gotten fed up and downloaded it
finally air the show no one watches because as above everyone who cares has seen it already via other means
complain about poor ratings
cancel show

buy a new show to do the same with

I read an article the other week about how no one is watching US shows on tv in Aus anymore, like gee I wonder why

The scene where Liv was watching the video of her Ex was like Abed from Community, That blank/numb face was all Abed.
