Everyone seems to want to deal with Carlton but what about pick 5 to Richmond for say Jack.

That would give Richmond pick 2 and 5 plus pick 16 to deal with WCE for Judd. I think Richmond might go this if we asked.

I seriously doubt this one. Young Jack is one of the few shining tall prospects down at punt road. He was fantastic in the vfl prelim final on the weekend. He aint going nowhere.

He hasn't even been at the tiges for 12 months yet:rolleyes:

There is no hope we are going to get any first year players, let alone a kid who went pick 8 in the superdraft.

Seriously, use a bit of common sense.

Will not be traded.
You can offer for Hughes or Schulz though

Where talking Judd here. If pick 5 would get you the deal what would you give up then? Don't say Schultz because pick 5 is now worth a lot more as Carlton, Richmond, Melbourne, and Collingwood could all use it to make the deal stick with WCE.

Stupid thread! What clubs trade away their top pick from the previous year? NO ONE!
I don't think it's even allowed? When clubs draft a player they have to keep them for a minimun of 2 years.

You may be right there however a good player from Richmond could secure our pick. Who would we want from them?

I don't think there is a rule as we de-listed M.West last year after he had spent just 1 year on the main list, abit we did re-draft in the rookie draft.

Unfortunately there are few players, if any, who would demand pick 5 as compensation on our list. I'm afraid if there is such a player (Lids perhaps), we couldn't afford to lose them.

I really really really hope we have more to offer you in a few years time, but just at the moment, being totally realistic, the cupboard is a little bit bare at Tigerland. I like to think there is a bit of potential though.

:(

Unfortunately a few years away is not soon enough.

We took Jack at 13, why would he now be worth 5?

You make a lot of sense with your comments.

Nathan Foley, anyone?

Would help with clearance issues.

I dont know about riewolt. something tells me his tricks wont pass muster at senior level. cant put a finger on it but I just dont like his style.

I am seriously hoping this season was the first of many for young Foley but I would not waste pick 5 on him until he at least showed that sort of form two years. Raines was runner up in the rising star last year but this year he did not show the same form. Tuck had a breakout year two years ago but has not been quite as good since (he wasn't bad this year BTW). I seriously would be a bit more cautious with a draft pick like number 5.

I do not believe we have anyone on our list that would be worth 5 on current form and reputation.

Jack is hardly KPP power forward material. For mine looks to be a player that may struggle to find a position suited to him.

Don't worry about Jack, he's going to be just fine. He's one I am not worried about. Edwards and Connors are two others that are not going to be a problem.

;)

La La land.

Butane I know we wont get him, but Foley was recruited as a rookie, & if we offer pick 5 for him that is a huge upgrading on his original draft position.

The Tiges supporter said anyone on their list worth pick 5?

Foley is worth trading our pick 5.....
