Oppo Camp James Aish (Traded to Freo 2019)

He was 1 of the Reasons early in the Game we had so Much Pressure on Freo. Aish was Flying Around in the 1st Qtr.

He was Good without being Great.

Smart Footballer with Good Kick which we seem to lack
He's a smooth criminal, moves like Michael Jackson and has a tank that becomes a weapon late in games.

I liked young jims game. Hope he keeps this level of playing with the occasional 25-30 possesion game to wrap up the year ready for a big 2017.

This kid needs to play each week. He has alot of quality about him with excellent skills, which is something the team team desperately needs.
Even the way he lined up and kicked that last goal. Never looked in doubt.

To me it seems he is still getting to know the players around him. He seems like a quiet kid and i think he will get alot better as he feels like a more important part of the team. Maybe when scharenberg's back we will see his potential.

But i'd definitely give him a run in the middle.

Barring a terrible run of form I'd be happy to see him stay in for the remainder and let him build form, confidence and experience. He's never going to be a behemoth but a full preseason will hopefully add a few all important kilos. He's good enough to play in the middle, just needs the frame to sustain it.

He had 4 less supercoach points than Pendles. 16 possies, 5 marks, 4 tackles, 1 goal. A few nice shepherds and spoils. He's a smart player, it's his first year in a new team after being in the putrid environs of the Brions. Play him for the rest of the year in AFL, give him some continuity and he'll be a great player for us. Def needs some midfield time.

Just stunned by the negativity on this site sometimes. The kid played a solid game last nite. The club invested heavily to get him for a reason. He is quality and will develop in time. Some really stupid comments about his build. Do ya reckon it was a problem for Robbie flower, Keith Greg or Michael Tuck. Get behind the kid and the club.

Better overall.
Am sure he will find his feet, keep playing, confidence up, team does ok, he'll be ok.
Amazing thing a bit of confidence.

I didn't mind his game was pushed off the ball to easily at times.

That the biggest Thing he needs to work on. Mostly in marking Contests

watched the whole game. I am genuinely unsure how he fits in long term.

He is a Midfielder and should be getting actual time there like he did in the VFL when he was 1 if our Best Players.

He was far from worse last night

This. He is a good kid, level headed and still finding his feet. A bit of TLC goes a long way for our sponsored player.

Who does he push out of the midfield?

Phillips showed much more last night than Aish has in any game this year.

Given what Aish cost and he is a 3rd player that's a worry.
