Kirby
Shambolic Rube
I thought it was a solid game. Should stay in for next week.

This. He is a good kid, level headed and still finding his feet. A bit of TLC goes a long way for our sponsored player.
Who does he push out of the midfield?
Phillips showed much more last night than Aish has in any game this year.
Given what Aish cost and he is a 3rd player that's a worry.

Just stunned by the negativity on this site sometimes. The kid played a solid game last nite. The club invested heavily to get him for a reason. He is quality and will develop in time. Some really stupid comments about his build. Do ya reckon it was a problem for Robbie flower, Keith Greg or Michael Tuck. Get behind the kid and the club.
Players develop at different rates.
Aish in his first year was a jet and nearly won the rising star.
So to say "phillips has shown more in one game than aish" is a very foolish comment.
He will be a slow burn, but i reckon this year is all about resetting aish after brisbane destroyed his development. He is very talented
I agree with you in relation to his quality and supporting Jimmy. He's got my backing.
As for the frame, he doesn't need to be a beast but he does need enough strength and size to stand up to the modern game. That's not a knock on him though, that's just the requirement for all players in modern footy... he'll get there and will play good footy along the way.
There's probably a reason that those three champions your mentioned are all from decades past. Previous eras also allowed blokes like Cowboy Neale, Rene Kink and Brian Taylor to become top shelf players (I'm a Canberran so I have a soft spot for Cowboy). Not so easy to get by as a rake or a bus these days.
Greenwood another unsung hero. He blankets opponents without getting the recognition. Not as damaging as Crisp but he does a good job on them. Better than the Caff.Crisp and Greenwood I can see him sharing there Spot.
You are a Super Harsh Marker.
Phillips was good.

What I love about Greenwood is he knows how to stick a tackle. Whenever he grabs hold of someone usually the tackle is effective. Missed tackles are an absolute killer.Greenwood another unsung hero. Nice partial quote. You left out "in any game this year".
I don't buy the resetting. He's a third year player. That comes with expectations.
I'd be interested in seeing Aish's GPS numbers. One of the ABC commentators reckons he doesn't run hard enough. It would be easy to tell whether that's true or not just by looking at his figures
And You Expectations are Miles too High.
So we should of got Rid of Swan after his 3rd Year as he did Nothing and not played AFL Yet?
He did the "hot potato" thing in the last quarter that I don't like.........but I thought he got better as the game went on.
He has the right temperament and drive as a young player.
Must play seniors for the rest of the year IMO.
