Earl Shaw might have something to say about that.

At the end of last season I'd have said that Shaw was closer to senior football than Erikson, notwithstanding encouraging progress made by Erikson since he joined the club. His small man skills look good for a big man (agility, skills below the knees) but as a big man he still looked uncomfortable at ACTAFL level - at least partly due to his physique.

Shaw looked far more comfortable as a ruckman, though his kicking still needed work.

Of course things might have turned around over the off-season.
