Id be happy to get a debut for starters. . Not many mids have gone two season without a game have they?
Jansen is beginning to dispel the adage that a "big body warrants automatic senior selection" (let alone success), especially for midfielders.

Hopefully he can recover well, put together some good games in the VFL and start pressing because we certainly need some options in the middle of the ground but, as has been mentioned, the lack of NAB exposure this year is something of a concern.

Jansen to me, has all the natural strengths to be a great tagger.

Word is he is struggling with the free flowing part of the game but excels at stoppage work. He can therefore have an influence tagging players at stoppages. He has size and just like ling and Crowley, can use it to bollock his opponent. He also played as a defender prior to the u18s champs and knows how to stop an opponent.

He seems to be struggling as a normal mid, why not channel his natural strengths towards a position he appears suited to?

Will Scott see it that way? Doubt it.
