Jason Lay**** & Jobe Watson

I read on the main Essendon site that he's being considered for his first game against the Lions, and I say that's a brilliant idea.

Pitch him up against Charman and McLaren and let him find his AFL feet first up, then next week against Melbourne maybe then have him go up against Jolly, then give Hille the 1st ruck against Jeff White.

I also heard that Sheeds won't be taking Jobe up to Brisbane this weekend. Probably another good idea, but I would have liked it to have seen Jobe up here on Saturday night.

What does everyone else thing about this?

Probably a good idea to hold off on Jobe. Already well built, but we dont need Voss and Co running through him just yet.


I'd give Lay**** a crack at CHF and a couple of runs on the ball to let him know what its all about. Charman is still a good ruckman - might be better giving Lay**** a go against McLaren.
