Listened to Ratten's comments yesterday after the game in particular Carltons need to find a forward other than Fev to take a few marks, then watched last night as JK took, I think 16 ?? Obviously most would have been happy with the deal that was put in place, especially considering Judd's recent form, but just can't imagine how much better Carlton may have been had you been able to hang onto JK as well. Was there anybody else who could have been thrown into the mix, especially with hindsight ??

Paul Bower's name was often mentioned but I don't think the Eagles wanted anybody else except Kennedy.

That's rght i believe BG. This should've been added on to one of the other 5 threads on this issue we've had in the past week though.

12 marks not 16- 9 of those uncontested and 2 contested. Marking has however never been one of JK's problems. Getting enough of the pill,kicking for goal,seizing the moment and consistency are the problems he must overcome.

Kennedy looked good with the Weagles last night, but then again, they got thrashed by 10 goals!

They should have played him early in the year as he'll prolly do well over there.

It was hard to lose him, but Judd is so fantastic it doesn't matter that much.

I think Carlton didn't use JK properly anyways. Time and time again he would provide a decent lead, and we would just kick it over his head to Fevola. I think JK going to a team who doesn't have a good FF to take away all the supply will be the best thing possible for his career. As long as Fevola was at the club, JK never would have been able to reach his full potential IMHO
