The Sydney assistant coach has been strongly favoured in discussions regarding the new St Kilda coaching position.

I know that the subject might be a little 'touchy' with Sydney fans because you may be losing a great assistant coach but if he is as good and ready as is being touted, then it is inevitable that he leaves to coach another club. It might as well be us. I can't imagine that there would be a better setup for a first year coach than at St Kilda at the moment.

I was hoping that some Sydney supporters might be quite knowledgable about him and be able to contribute to a thread I posted on the St Kilda board

What are his qualities?
What can he bring to St Kilda that will make them a better outfit?

Be a real shame if we lost Longmire. If Roos is true to his word and steps down in 3 years, he would have been a natural fit to step into the number one job here in Sydney. But St Kilda could do a lot worse than end up with him as their coach, that's for sure!
