Kouta Pushes Stevos Case!

At the conclusion of a 16-year football career, Koutoufides said he would be interested in working in a development role under Carlton's new coach, and his former teammate, Brett Ratten if he was presented with the chance. Asked if he would join another club if there was no such opportunity he said: "I wouldn't want to, no."
I must admit, this comment here disturbs me a little. If he want to get into coaching, why would he limit himself to just one club?

Doesn't do anything to quell the boys club rumours.

It sounds like Kouta is more interested in a role at Carlton than pursuing a genuine coaching career.

He has been at Carlton more than half his life, it is his home, and he loves the club.

you couldn't get 2 words out of kouta while he was playing, now there is no stopping him.

"I would embrace it, and I'm pretty sure most of the guys would too,Koutoufides said. "I'm sure they'd all respect Chris for what he's achieved already in his career. There may be a bit of talk about it, but eventually guys get over it and would accept it."

not sure kouta is the most qualified to talk about embracing things.

wonder if kouta will ever get over all his grudges???? :D

There si a difference between accepting a highly respected, successful footballer as a captain and a dictator as a coach. Just letting you know.
