The reality of it is, we want players who WANT to play for Collingwood.

As Geoff Walsh said, if players don't want to be here, we will accomodate them elsewhere.

Kurt Tippett wants to join the Swans on inflated money.

It's un-justifiable to the rest of our playing group, who all took pay cuts to stay together (Travis Cloke most recently) to bring in Tippett on big coin. It would be a hige slap in the face to the playing group who have remained loyal to the club.

Why aren't the Swans getting the same crap we would've/have in this situation?

Paul Roos threatens to get on a plane over Jolly until we add pick 46(?) to 14. Then bitches that we ripped off the Swans. We are the pricks.

Luke Ball wants to get to the Pies. We offer fair trade compo but it stubbornly gets turned down.
Luke puts a price on his head & nominates the Pies. Calls of draft tampering & what pricks we are once again.

Sydney won't offer more than White & pick 22. Otherwise Tippett goes into the draft/PSD with a million dollar price tag on his head for the first year. Result, Syd get Tip, Adelaide get KY, if there lucky.

Where are the calls of Sydney draft tampering or what pricks they are?

Public perception is key to everything.

We are the enemy, no matter what.

Well, tazzawazza like many players, he divides opinion.

Saviour? Or grossly overrated FF, possibly one game away from being told never to play again. Who will cost a lot of dollars. Both as a contracted player and then, God forbid, in medical or legal costs down the track.

Preferably not for mine.

Paine will be a very good player, and in the meantime, we have Trav, Lynch for a couple of years, Goldy, Caff maybe ( though tbh not overly hopeful here) perhaps we draft a young gun KPF, with 17,18, 20 to take over from Lynch.

Tippett = unacceptable risk ( though I do acknowledge the potential upside, which is seductive I agree, but nah..)
Thanks
I'm over Tippett now :) !

But I still think we need 1 more power forward in the forward line along with Lynch and Cloke. Hopefully Paine can recover quick and get a bit stronger! Or maybe draft Jake Stringer who got a perfect score in the kicking test, he is one of the top tall forwards this year and according to afl.com.au he ranges pick 15-25. Although Knightmare told me he sees him more as a versatile utility in the future.
