So glad we won and I cant remember being so nervous and 3/4 time.
I was getting the shakes and had goose bumps.

But what im writing about is the coverage was shit.

The commentators were biased towards Freo even though most of the audience watching would of been Melbourne based and they continuely showed replays while the game was going on.

I could of sworn MacAvaney and Co were barracking for Freo.

Anyone else have the same throughts.

As for the time clock, same thing happened last week in the Richmond/Doggies game where about 10 seconds was lost yet no one seemed to bother mentioning that.

What's new?

Buckley was a disgrace.
How was it when he said 'Freo are playing like Collingwood did against Geelong'?
Talk about ego.
He neglected to mention that that style didn't work twice last year.
Seems to be the classic tall poppy syndrome.
Most commentators are loving teams who are threatening to beat us. Everyone loves an underdog i suppose...
I've noticed it the last couple of weeks with Luke Darcy.
And Robert Walls with his ridiculous 'St Kilda are better than Geelong when they sort themselves out' comment...
Frustrating.

Yes, we are the tall poppy now, so we had better get used to commentators pumping up the underdogs.

Most sides are going to try to pressure us this year as Collingwood did. Just as the Swans tried the previous week. The difference this time, was like the Prelim, we were off our game so the game style, seemed to work for the majority of the game.

Yeah it's a tricky one. Even the most unbiased commentator will find it hard not to barrack for the underdog. Especially when they're having a crack. I noticed it during the Collingwood/Carlton match. Carlton were certainly the flavour of the day.
I do agree with you though. It is frustrating. As for Friday nights game. I'll have to wait until Tuesdays replay on Fox to get a fresh opinion. Couldn't hear sh*t in my lounge room. I'm sure the neighbours heard everything though.
