What do you think of his recent work from the mid 90's onwards? Personally I rate it his best since the mid 70's. The album "Time out of Mind" is one of his very best albums. Love Sick, Not Dark Yet, Cold Irons Bound,etc...

There has been great songs for soundtracks such as "Things Have Changed" which I have in my top 20 Dylan songs and "Dignity"

I am looking forward to the new album coming out in a few days. I don't expect much vocal wise but if he sticks to his limitations, gives enough for the song, it won't be so bad, with such great writing, his voice can be forgiven.

I just find his voice really horrible now. I could deal with it in his classic period, but it's just got worse and worse.

He's a critics darling now, but I don't think his songs touch the essential period.

I see where you are coming from. I just think that he is really appreciated and respected which adds to his latest acclaim as an artist but his later output is still very good.

His voice is terrible but if you are a fan of his interpretation you tend to forgive it a bit. There are some good vocals but I don't like it when he really strains. A sultry blues delivery from Bob still sounds great.

Time out Of Mind was deserving as album of the year from 97 and his songwriting is close to his peak Which I say Mid 60's and Mid 70's, although now with the years of experience behind him.
