Basically, a thread for unsatisfactory and/or suspicious/conspiratorial behavior by law enforcement involving criminal cases.
In this particular case, a young man dies. The family is told death wasn't suspicious, no foul play, the body is cremated (evidence lost), LE do hardly nothing to investigate the case because the victim is just some guy with mental health problems, maybe some minor criminal history. Family eventually visits crime scene to collect possessions and realizes a brutal murder actually took place, they investigate, find to the neighbor had cam and audio footage at the time of the murder, they bombard LE with new evidence to find the killer, finally LE stop sitting on their hands.
