Would be a massive get. A big step up from Bailey, the former Saints/Gold Coast player who I can't even remember his name. Good player's don't necessarily make good coaches, but I think Hayes would be fantastic. Held in such a high regard.

It means Daly could focus on the forward line again.

Daly already is doing the fwd line and its no coincidence that that area has been better for the last 6 weeks( they have switched roles mid season). BT stated that tigers are going hammer and tongs for Lenny and have shelved at this point on other appointments. That is to say the feeling at this stage isn't mutual.

McQualter
He is a development coach, paid accordingly and is essentially a witches hat mover. Has been in an elite program under Lyon so im not against this. This is different to a fully fledged assistant coach, assigned to the midfield of which he has the responsibility to perform more than McQualter.

I should've quoted the post where someone couldn't remember his name.

Sorry mate it seemed you were against his appointment.

Nah, I don't really have opinions on who we should get as development coaches, recruitment guys, I don't know anything about any of them. I trust the club

Not sure how lenny would go , from reports looks like he will make a good transition to coaching and people all seem to like him we shall see i suppose

what i would like to see more is players/coaches like Voss,Dermie,Carey being called upon to have 5-6 week stints at the club with specialist coaching roles
just gives the players insight into champions views and idea's

I heard a whisper Daley will be joining Brisbane next year has anyone else heard this ? I really like the guy as a forward coach and as a person from what I've seen.

No I haven't heard this Rusty, they can have Williams of the non chocco type though & we keep Daley. Sounds fair to me .....;)

Yeah that's what I thought but I heard he's pretty close with Leppa and more dollars are on offer. Could be bullshit and something we'll hear more and more of now Leppas up there.
Yeah maybe I spose if they were to offer him a long term deal, bit of security in an industry where that is very little of that

Yeah a nice 4 year deal is good security considering most assistants get the boot with a change of senior coaches.

Who knows maybe with Lenny on board our training standards won't drop over the pre season. He might even be able to spot it happening and do something about it. Be worth every cent.

Well he didn't seem to put the brakes on some quality pre season work at st kilda. Boy did those clowns stick to their task. Videos included.
