From what I can see, it just depends which 22 the Woodsmen field each week. But considering it's a GF, they'll probaly field their best side!

I followed it a bit last year and they seemed to have an unusual selection process that involved beer, so I don't think they take themselves too seriously.

Neither side should be in Div 3, but its the fault of the QAFL that they can't go up.

UNI 4ths ARE OFF TO THE PRELIMINARY FINAL!

WOOOOOOO! LOGAN ARE GONE FROM BOTH DIVISIONS

We won after the siren after they had the chance to steal the win after a tense 4th term.....

So great is this win, I don't care that I missed voting..... Surely the love of thy footy club must come before love of thy shithead politicians!

Anyone in the region of Wynnum West shoudl head down this Saturday for some Preliminary Final action.

Main event is Beenleigh Buffalos taking on Robina. Winner meets Kedron in the Grand Final with both teams to be elevated to Division 1 next season.

11:30 am is the Reserve Preliminary, with Kedron Lions meeting the University of Queensland Red Lions. Now just because they are the Kedron Lions, don't think for a minute there is a link with the BRISBANE Lions. For crying out loud, they sing the Melbourne theme song and wear Melbourne colours. You might as well jump on the Red Lions Bandwagon. At least we sing about Uni student culture..

'Drunk last night, Drunk the night before
We gonna get drunk tonight, like we've never been drunk before'

Reckon both games with be absolute crackers. Beenleigh finished minor premiers, but lost last week to Kedron in a game they probarbly should of won. They do have an early season win over Robina, who are equally deserve to be there.

Kedron and Uni have had some good matches this year, with Kedron always seemingly getting away with the points. A full strength squad for UQ gives us the best possible chance to finally get a win over the Lions after our lucky escape last week when Logan City missed after the final siren.

University Division 1 Reserves will also be in action @ Lemke Rd against Coorparoo Kings with the winner meeting Caloundra in the Grand Final.

I played for Kenmore bears a couple of year back in division one, played mainly ressies but made it to the senior team until I got Shin splints. Thinking about making a comeback next season to the Jimboomba Redbacks..

Thinking about making a comeback next season to the Jimboomba Redbacks..

If you did that, and they didn't go to a higher div, you'd probably be lining up against me next year. Would that be the first Lions BF Poster vs Lions BF Poster in real life footy history?:eek::p

We have possibly played against each other already, I played 3 games against the scum Yeronga when I was playing for Kenmore 2 years ago.. We always got smashed by Yeronga in the Ressies..

Also Jimboomba need to go up a division they won the comp this season without losing a game which IMO just should never happen.

I've played the odd Ressies game over the few years I've been @ Yeronga but not against Kenmore that I can remember. I mainly play Thirds @ Yeronga.

The big deciding thing for that isn't results, its the number of players you have.

Any club that has 50 or 60 full time players are possible to move up. UQ had to move in Division 2 because we had plenty to run 4 squads

Yeah i think the main problem was lack of players, only missed out by a few though. Still an unbeaten season is a joke IMO.

You guys must of gained some real guns over the last couple years. Wasn't too long ago Uni was still in Div 3 and the Redbacks/Jimboomba had some great games.
