Learnt a new magic trick over the weekend and I will share it with you fellow Hawkers. It will come in handy during the holiday season when I assume there will be alot of family gatherings or perhaps even impress that girl you've been dating.
1) Firstly you need a deck of cards.
2) You will need one person to play the trick on.
Shuffle the deck and always remember one card in the deck. Lets assume that one card is the ace of diamond. I usually peek at the bottom of the deck
. Spread the cards over the table remembering that one card in the deck. The most important part of the trick is to remember that one card and where is it on the table. Hide it underneath another card to ensure the trick works.
Now the trick is set.
You now ask the person to point to the ace of diamond on the table. Do not let the person reveal the card or it will lost. Slowly take that card and have a look it. It will not be your ace of diamond because you've hidden that elsewhere . Lets assume the person choose the Queen of hearts. I tend to perform a mini celebrating pumping my fist in the air giving the impression the card is the ace of diamond.
Ok, like the first step you then ask the person again to point to the Queen of hearts. Remember you've just picked up that card. Now slowly take the second card and have a look it at. Once again, perform the mini celebration that the person choose the Queen of hearts. Lets assume you've picked up the 3 of spades. Almost done.
Now for the finale. You tell the person you will now choose the 3 of spade. Remembering where you ace of diamond is hidden slowly take the card. One last time, mini celebration.
Ok now reveal the 3 cards to the person. Wala.
