Hey guys, just want to know a bit more about him.

Haven't heard anyone say much about his progress in recent times.

How's he coming along?

How are his VFL performances for those that have seen them?

Is he still a long way off senior selection? (I know he played round 22 last year but is he in our current calculations?)

Any news would be appreciated!

At this stage of his career he looks lost,is yet to pick up the tempo of AFL.
He has good size can take a mark and kicks well,but a bit robotic in my opinion.
Hopefully he will come on key posistion players are like hens teeth at Carlton.
 
for a pick #35 KPP, I'm happy for him to develop in the VFL however needs to show a bit of grunt and want in the VFL and give himself a chance for selection later in the year.

Rate him highly. Good height and athleticism. His lack of intensity has been raised as an issue, but I'm sure that will develop with time. :)

hopefully it does, but the kid should know he needs to work hard on the track to even get a game.

you would think the round 22 game last year even though was a bad game to play your debut game would have given him a spark to work his back side off during the pre-season and try to make a name for himself.

at the moment, doesnt seem to be even making a name for himself in the bullants!!

No.

Carlton need KPP and Austin is fast and a bottom age tall who needs more time.

Oz is just one day younger than Rhys Palmer.

List structure is just as important as picking the best player with later picks.
 
I'd be expecting him as a bottom-aged KPP to make CHB his position in the Ants for most of the year and be pushing for senior selection very late in the season..

He was also very much bottom aged when he was drafted 18 months ago. Still got alot of development in him, and I know Gilly is a wrap for him, after seeing him play for Glenelg in 2006.
