MCC Members

I posted this on the Essendon board, but with my powers of deduction I figure this board will have the highest percentage of MCC Members.

So, after years of looking over at the upper class MCC Members, I've decided I'd like to become one of them by late 2045. If I join the waiting list now that should be about how long it takes. Since I don't know (to my knowledge at least) any MCC Members in my day to day life, I was wondering if it was possible for two Members here put their details on the joining form for me. Figure it could work with me just scanning and emailing the form out to one, then the other. If anyone would be able to do this it'd be greatly appreciated. Bit of a long shot but can't hurt to ask.

I'm a restricted member as of last year's intake so I can't help you and I'm still learning the ropes around the place myself. Isn't there a number of people who you are allowed to nominate? If that's the case you might struggle to find randoms helping you.

I've been a restricted member for 10 years. Still about 2 - 3 years away from full membership.

You need to join a inner eastern suburbs local football / cricket club if you don't know anyone (full member) to nominate you as a member.

Local clubs have heaps of MCC members in my experience.

MCC membership not worth the effort man, don't bother. It's only worth it if you have full membership and you need to wait probably another 15 years after getting restricted membership (which is another 15-20 year wait) for that.
