can you guys tell me if he's any chance of playing this weekend?
He'd be lucky to play a game again. No matter how many people say he has talent / athlete / No.5 Draft Pick etc.... he simply does not have a ticker.

Sorry for laying the boots into him, I couldn't help myself.

Get ****ed. Seriously its been done to death.

As for your question, McDougall will likely be an emergency and best chance of getting a game in the near future is if Hansen is rested.

How is it that a guy who tries to run back onto the ground with a fractured collarbone or cheekbone or whatever it was, is accused of having no heart?

Honestly, some people's children!

He was probably told that if he didnt get back out there he would never play another game. As it happens he probably wont anyway.

Got any evidence?? How do you know that was said. The answer is, you dont.

we can only hope Lynch will be dropped or comes down with a virus and doogs steps up instead.

When he first lined up at FF he was just as bad as Lynch, dropping easy marks (although his marks would be in front of his face, not like Lynch's chest marks) all the time. It was extremely frustrating but after a hanfull of games playing out of FF he managed to actually grab the ball cleanly and i was actually starting to warm to him as our permanent FF. But now we have Lynch it's back to square 1 except there seems to be no improvement in the the number of marks he is holding onto.

Drop Lynch, bring in Doogs!!

Give me a player that tries his darndest every game, no matter what.... over someone who doesn't have a ticker (i.e. looks okay when the team is dominating and goes to water when things are tough).

Doogs could come in, but dropping Lynch is rediculous.

Aside from his first game v the Kangaroos rd 22 2002, Doogs first up effort was four goals in one quarter vs the Dees sometime in 2003. He led fast and straight to the ball, almost effortlessly and marked well out in front of his face, cleanly. As for his kick, I remember last season, I think against Essendon at Subi, but it might have been another game, he kicked a 60 metre goal off two steps. I have seen him kick a ball 70 metres off three steps. He is young, and needs to put on a bit more bulk, but when he reaches his maturity, as I am so often hearing takes a long time for a kpp, he will be a force to be reckoned with. I once said after Judd's second game that he would win a Browlnow before Cousins, (and I was right) and now I say that I think Doogs could be our next
Coleman Medalist.See this Thread

As for ticker, I covered that in an earlier post in this thread.

A lot of people were on his bandwagon when he was in good form last season, but people seem ready to get rid of him pretty quickly now. I think Yakuza constantly pimping the McDougall-hate has something to do with it.

The only way I can see us getting rid of him this year is if he's traded to get someone like Fevola. He won't be delisted.

Do I presume that you are starting to see the light?
