Bring them in....

For;

Raines, Too inconsistant at this stage and needs to be shown he is no immidiate 22 player.

Thursfield is doing quite well, however rotate him with Mcguane.

Moore and Mcguane have played too much VFL footy despite their strong senior performances, prior to them being dropped. Both are strong at VFL level also.

Thoughts?

I honestly think Moore is gone. If he is selected this week, don't expect him to be selected again.

I like McGuane, however you have to remmember he wasn't take the number 1 full foward each week like Thursty has been doing. After 2 months straight, Thursty could use a break though. Also McGuane has better disposal then Thurstfield

Mcguane's body is built stronger, his possessions are more meaningful. As a result he deserves game time.

Moore looks like he is on the way out. However he was going somewhere before he injured himself. It was only a one or two week injury, yet should have been into the line up sooner.

Regarding Moore maybe, he did a few good things and had a couple of very solid games... however you also have to think that maybe he was only selected this year over last year because we had no Gasper and Kellaway. Also looking back Bowden was always taking the best foward, with McGuane taking the second. Playing on the 3rd best tall foward could have made his games better then they looked

O'keefe and Robinsons arn't tall forwards. This is where the confusion starts. Not only he has the ability to play on tall opposition players, but he has the speed and agility to match it with the classy small forwards.

He spent plenty of time training on Brownie in the pre-season.

This is a rare talent and we need to give him the next 8 or so games to see if he has the ability to play AFL.

Another question.... how many games in a row has Moore played? - To my knowledge, not many... I may be wrong...

You're right, however he is a 190cm player, 1cm shorter then McGuane and Thurstfield. I believe Wallace doesn't see him as a part of the future, whether he finishes well or poorley

My ins and outs

OUT: Raines, Tuck, Delido (Injured)
IN: Hartigan, McGuanne, Hyde

...and keep White in the team? No thanks. Is it me or does it seem like he is getting less gametime then last year. His defensive pressure is also woeful. He is a player for the future but he def needs to go back to Coburg.

Raines was awful tonight, however Tivendale, White, Edwards and Riewoldt and a few others were just as bad. He is still young like the rest of these guys (Bar Tiva) which is why Tivendale should be dropped first.

My Changes:
OUT: White, Tivendale (omit), Deledio (inj.)

IN: Hartigan, McGuane, Moore

Richmond Board bigfooty has already discovered Moore is one of Wallaces 'love players' Similar to the Spud and Krak love affair.

If Wallace didn't see him as part of the future he would have got rid of him after a poor season last year.

We may see him survive yet again with the retirement of gasper and the aging Joel Bowden.

He is in the Race with Mcguane, Thursfield, P.Bowden and Schulz as our replacing defenders. (with a bit of height.)

Each of these players are not regular players. Moore is faster, more agile and built as good as schulz and P.bowden.

So no player has a clear lead.

Which is why I come to the conclusion of a few regular senior games to decide his career.

Casserley played coburg reserves this week, doubt hed be given a game given his injury history as well.

with regards to white - i agree, he needs to be dropped, hes gone backwards, i thought he showed some promise last season, but hes hopeless, would be lucky to be retained on the list.

Let Thursty play out the season, hes not being smashed, Gherig cut loose in the final quarter and was given the ball lace out to run onto 3-4 times by harvey in the last quarter, no-one can stop that, and against petrie there wasnt much he could do, the ball was coming in with little or no pressure on the ball carrier, a defenders worst nightmare!

Moore, hasnt done himself any favours this season, had injuries as a cover the previous seasons, but this year by and large hes been fit and hasnt shown much. McGuane is still raw but has comeon heaps from last year, I'd expect him to be a starter next season.

surely moore is finished. Changes this week should be
Ins:
Hartigan
Mcguane
Schulz

Outs:
Raines
White
Deledio (inj)
