There is no doubt that Macca had a shocker today.

With Cookie & Schammer among others on the sidelines even I think he will be playing for the Sharks next week.

With the 3 mid-fielders on the sidelines at the moment in cooky, schammer and schofield if they are fit there is no way Macca is gonna be good enough now to get a game, it's very good mid-field depth though. I do feel a little sorry for him because we know what he is like, todays game is nothing knew to us over the last 10 years. His skills have certainly improved over the last year and a half but they certainly came crashing down today! Once again it was when the pressure was on, he is just not a big game player and might be one to only consider when playing at subi maybe. Cooky doesn't have the best foot skills either but i still think they are a little better than macca, and cookies toughness is as good as it gets. Overall footy brain cooky wins that too.

So unless we get some bad mid-field injuries and suspensions i feal that this is it for him as a docker.

Scapegoat? You gotta be ********ing kidding me.

Macca was the biggest liability in a quarter of football I have ever seen today. And he didn't do much of anything in the first three either, let alone contribute positively.

His performance today, simply cannot be defended. Whether or not he can still play a positive part in our team is up to him. But I'd say he has his work cut out for him.

The biggest problem for Mcmanus and to a lesser extent Cook is that they normally play negating roles, with Webster and Dodd doing good jobs in those roles over the last 2 weeks they are going to struggle to get a game.

Webster and Dodds roles on Aussie Jones and Dal santo today were pretty good.

Can't argue with that. I still think Cook has a role, but not at the expense of these two blokes, and I don't know who I'd take out when Schammer comes back from injury (believe Cook will take Maccas place this week)

Macca, the first bloke I'd pick to back me up in a blue but unfortunately one of the last I'd pick if it came to basic skill and reliability.
He probably wouldn't get a regular game in most AFL sides.
