The winner wins oversized novelty cheque (yes, there is prize money)
Here's the winners presentation of the cheque and trophy at the 2012 Las Vegas Bratish Invitational
btw - I must point out something. This is for mediocre players, if you score less than 80, you're disqualified from the trophies. You can still get the oversized cheque, you can still win the "I'm Kinda long" sticker for longest drive, or "I'm kinda close" sticker for closest to the pin, or meltdown stressball for worst meltdown in back 9 (I've won 3 of the 5 I've been in) and you can still win the 1 inch plastic 'gross award' trophy for winning it all. But yeah, you might be too good for it and you wont win the cool trophies.
For Sydney and Melbourne residents, 1 person would have to set up your own chapter and probably get friends to join at first, it might not be feasable right now. It'd be ~$400 for 5 events (maybe 6 if you get into gear and get the Fore Championship played asap) then pay green fees. But yeah, it is really fun and a good laugh.
