I just thought I'd post this up in case a few of the Victorians missed it.

"Melbourne supporters are in for a Swans-fest towards the end of this month. Not only do the team begin their NAB Cup campaign at Etihad Stadium on Friday February 24,
but the following morning the entire squad who travel south will be on show at the always popular Melbourne Fan Day.

The Melbourne Fan Day - which is free and open to all - will feature clinics and autograph sessions with the players, as well as the opportunity to ask a question of your favourite Swan in the Media Zone.

Sydney Swans Melbourne Fan Day
Date: Saturday February 25, 2012
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Venue: Aanenson Oval, Murphy Reserve
Address: Williamstown Road, Port Melbourne (Melways 56, K1)"

I'll be heading to the fan day it's good to see the entire squad that comes for the NAB Cup will be there.

They would want to do something down here. The HOF has now gone full time to Sydney, Tony Morwood who was put in charge down here to look after the heartland has deserted to Sydney and the office is now part-time.

I was hoping we got a new Melbourne office across the road at Lakeside in with the Athletic joint..Hall of Fame should be held here or at least shared, most of the older folk dont travel so well..

yeeeeaaahh!! im hoping mummy is gunny be there. ive been waiting for a signed mummy jumper for a while now

and the office is now part-time.

Oh that worked out so well last time didn't it:rolleyes:

Still it has got to the stage where the Sydney Office knew more about what was happening in Melbourne than the Melbourne Office itself. If you get the correct ticketing information for the Geelong match in Geelong from the Swans offices in Sydney rather than Melbourne, than you have to ask what some people in the Melbourne office were doing and where they were getting the information from.

Not a wise move to make the office part time, but if it rids the office of some of the staff in it and the knowledge base is built back up, it will be for the best.

Cheers mate, the AFL shop didn't have the top I wanted and Rebel Sport didn't have any Sydney stuff but plenty of GWS :S

anyone go?
Sadly I was working. I drove past a couple of times in a semi and let the air horns go to the tune of cheer cheer the red and the white albeit one note only...
Looked like a decent turn out but they set the tent up in the middle of the oval it would have been scorching hot people wouldnt have stayed long.. dunno why as there are plenty of trees it would have been better.. Looked like heaps of kids which is always encouraging for our future. Go Bloods!
